Your thoughts please...I'm stuggling deciding what route I should go. Thanks!

I just asked myself the same question in game and came to the conclusion that master doc is the best way to go.

1) with master rifleman you inflict dmg far too fast for CM dmg (poison and disease)

2) Doc = self buff

there may not be very many arguements but it would seem that those two are enough. Unless of course you play in a party and need ranged healing. then the choice is obvious. But from a solo stand point, Doc, to me, seems the route to go.

Side argument: CH's might want to have ranged healing so they can keep their distance (thoa master rifleman/doc might not even have enough points for CH, another thing im struggling in game with )

Seeing as how Docs are now getting area cures, that's even more reason not to go CM. Rifle/CM is very strong offensively and fairly weak defensively. Rifle/Doctor has slightly lower offense(though still very nice) and very high defense. I say go with the one that covers both areas

If you are a hardcore PVP person, there is a template that allows you to have the great benefits of doc (cure disease, cure poison, and cure state) as well as the great benefits of CM (high powered poisons and diseases, although no area poison/disease). I am a PVP guy, I have a speed capped, skill-taped out, master riflemen/master fencer/4301 TKA/novice medic - a respectable all PVP template. When I try to duel my friend with master rifles/4030 doc/40004 CM, he beats me unless I get lucky and land a dizzy/kd at the beginning of the duel because he can tick my mind faster than I can take him down. I recommend this template to anyone wanting to be at the top of you game with ranged weapons. Anymore though, melee is king if you want to stay alive long enough to fight with the roaming packs of jedis that are dominating PVP. MY $.02.

Why would you put novice medic in a PVP template, with the current uber buffs, medic is nothing but a waste of skill points, you'll regen faster than you can heal with low level stims.

Becuase if a melee comes right up on top of you, and KD/dizzys you. Your health and action are going to drop. Assuming pikeman, or fencer. And a fencer can rip you a new on with a stun baton. I have a fencer/doc trust me I know

Haven't you heard man?

Combat Medics' stock is about to drop like a friggin stone. Everyone is out there yelling "Sell! Sell! Sell!"

If your choice is between the 2, go doctor. Doctor, doctor, doctor. You don;t have to master it though. A lot of people use the "battle doc" template of 4030. They can cure all states, poison, disease, and fire. Use the additional Skillpoints for more defense.

No its not, the combat medics will be fine... well the ones with brains, that might be a minority i guess

Your presious poison buffs will last 1-1.5 hours and do not prevent you from being poisoned, the main point of this patch is the docs can counter AOE poison onslaughts, so if you run without a doc your are still in for a bad experience with cm's from time to time, difference is that you don't get inta-poisoned no mater what if your buffed
