Any ideas? Master Fencer/Brawler/Rifleman and some TKA or swordsman, what do you think? The defence is there, the damage is there, but is there any chance at all? Im thinking, run around in meh Hawt Pawnts, and then KD and run like the little girl I am.

trade mfencer/mbrawler for tkm and keep fencer defenses as well as master rifles

Any Jedi who is finished, will destroy a master rifleman. The fact is a rifleman cannot hit a Jedi with master saber, and evertime they hit, its easily healed.

But honestly, I would rather go with fencer, over TKM. While TK has the toughness, Dodge+cob+dodge food, you blind the jedi. And he never hits you. Drop an intimidate. You use fencer on the higher level Jedi, and than rifleman on the lower level ones.

rifleman is not any more useful than other professions against jedi's. rifleman is useful in pvp because you can't heal mind. you get the jedi half way down his ham and he heals in two seconds. put a dot on him, he heals it, land 300 dmg every second, he heals it. there is absoloutlely no way to kill a high level jedi unless you have a doc friend with u, with dancer and musician buffs and all the foods and spices, and even with that you must get really really lucky.

I'm TKM/MRM and fight jedi on a fairly normal basis as I like to be overt. I always go melee vs them, it's just the smart thing to do. However, tonight I pulled a rifle out on a knight for the very first time( FR3 with sabrethrowing ). I managed to hit about 48/50 shots in a row with my DXR-6b and the jedi managed to block all 48 hits in a row, but I still hit for 500 on average. He had to heal about every 3 shots while running around. They aren't as hard to hit as I though, just can heal forever.

Unequipt rifle
Take off armour
Dizzy kd jedi
stun jedi
then use scatter hit
and throw a few more dizzy so the jedi dont get up

not quite true... bet you had him worried about his force pool
as he was healing so often. If I was getting hit so often I would wonder what was happening.
This seems to prove yet again that the higher the accuracy of the shot, the greater the chance to avoid the defences. XJ's and my testing on Rifle Block showed that the higher the accuracy of the firer the greater the chance that the attack would land and avoid the defence reaction. Using a DXR6 (best accuracy weapon in the game) + master rifle is a pretty good start, maybe someone can test against a fencer pistoleer template using dxr6, master rifle, and accuracy foods - would be nice to know what the current state of dodge and counterattack are like vs accuracy

Don't bother with scatter hit on a jedi. I think a lot of people make this mistake. A jedi is not like normal pvp encounters where you want to take out the mind because a jedi can heal the mind just as equally as the health or action, so you should do your highest damaging attack whenever possible (unless it's a low-level jedi)

Only way I can see a rifleman killing a Master Saber is catching them unbuffed and spam SS2 and hope one gets through. I've hit for 850 before in PVP but that's on a top roll.

Was wondering if any riflemen here have managed to win fights against Jedi?
Saberblock aside I found that I can hold my own till burst run expires, any tips or tactics for battleing these monsters? (melee is not an option)

please do a forum search...
And well a rifleman can survive for a bit vs a jedi the general consensus is that rifleman will die to a jedi once the jedi stops the rifleman from kiting (and it will happen).
parwan, synthsteak, brandy, 9 buffs, and a dot weapon pretty much for a rifleman to win vs a MLS jedi. Padawans are a completely different story though - if you get them before they hit MSL you have a chance (a very good one) of winning.

Unless you inflict good DoTs on them, your pretty much dead.

Why the GCW is so screwy.
In my opinion, to block a shot the Jedi should have the slightest time delay, i.e. stops it for0.25 of asecond, any thoughts?
