I need to finish grinding one of my professions and not sure which would go better with Bio-engineer need one that would gelp me get resources faster like meat and hide any advice on that

Pikeman funner, rifleman more damage.

Rifleman will cut them flying birds down, and pikeman you will be chasing a lot of stuff.

thats why I never realy liked melee too much running

Melee is the best tbh, the most enjoyable atleast to me. but I have not dropped rifleman since I regrinded after unlocking jedi in october 2003.

Rifleman generally suits scout based profs such a Squad Leader, CM, BE, and Ranger.

ActuallyI would argue that pike is better for a Bio-Engineer and Ranger. Ranger harvesting requires you be at close range to get your harvests and Bio_Engineer has to be at close range 100% of the time to do their basic work so a melee profession is more useful. Squad Leader is more suited to ranged professions because many of their abilities do not work if the SL is dizzied which happens more often in melee combat.

unless you do your harvesting with a droid...

Then (if you don't group with the droid) you can the droid close to the lair and have it harvest for you, while you stay back and snipe with your extra dmg...

Although TKM ranger works really well too...

Just gotta loves those rifles...

Either prof would suit a BE pretty well, but, in some instances, I see Pike as being the better choice. Pikeman has wicked area attacks, and if you were, harvesting a lair for instance, I think Pike would be more handy. Nothing is more simple than standing on top of a lair and swinging an LVA around in 360 degrees, ripping through all the mobs surrounding you. With all those corpses so closeby, the looting process tends to goby real quick. It takes a lot for me to say this too, because I can't stand the way melee' works in this game...this is one of the few timesI'll recommend it though
