I just wanted to know what are all your opinions on master swordsman master rifleman because i'm going this template and the information would be helpful.

i have this template and it works great, incredible offense in it. not nearly enough defenses though
i'd pick up the tree in fencer or tk that gives melee defense +

Great synergy between these two professions. With em you have all the damage types in the game (excepting lightsaber, electricity, and the now defunct restraint damage) Both are the heaviest hitters in the game. Both can target effectively the mind pool. Defences are a little lower then if you went fencer or tk and counterattack does not stack with block like pikeman would.

Defenses. We'll with my template I planned on going master swords master rifleman master combat prowess enhanced reflexes 4400 and 4220 medic so all my stats should look like this
rifle speed-102
rifle acc-172
sword speed-87
sword acc-142
melee defense-80
ranged defense-107
and i can heal myself and get rid of bleeds if needed.

"With em you have all the damage types in the game (excepting lightsaber)" Actuall we don't have a electric attack like pikeman does. As for the defenses, yes those are low but they can be corrected by SEA's it might be a little expensive but it can be done, check your local trade forums for prices. But one of the most important factors, of me atleast, is both have a mind damage attack. Nothing annoyed me more than taking a few shots with my rifle and then switching to a non-swordsman profession and having to start all over with pikeman attacks that can't finish off the mind bar, it just seems more efficiant with rifles/swords than with rifles/TK, pikeman or fencer.
