Any coments app. :-)

The AIM ability improves your chance to hit. You have to have the first box of the Ranged Support Abilities branch in Marksman to use AIM. In PvP, the technique can be beneficial, I would think, but it's more for PvE, because it's slow.

ok do i have to do anything to get the benefit from rifleaim then., Cause i saw a note saying you had to type /aim or something?
What if i dont have ranged supoort in marksman will it be worthless then?

If you don't have ranged support in Markmman, the first box, then you cannot execute the AIM technique.

An increase in accuracy is never a bad thing, to be sure. You may find it useful, but remember you AIM and then fire, so it's more time consuming, and in PvP, time may be of the essence, though AIMcan increase your damage. GenerallyI use AIM in PvE, especially when soloing things with conceal shot.

ok that was the answer i was looking for. Cant be bothered to put it in armor then and especially not use it for PvP cause im not sitting and writing /aim and then wait for it to kick in.
In other words useless in PvP :-(

Not totally worthless, /aim is great for getting a better lock on stackers and if you use flushing on them you'll land a stun if they're not high in resist to it. Once stunned your opponent has lost his primary defenses for the duration of the state and prone to increased attacks. Basically if you can't hit the person due to Fencer/Pistoleer/TK + pikatta pie using /aim with a high accuracy rifle and at the best range for that accuracy you'll more than likely hit them. Snow cake can always help as well but there isn't any cap on accuracy modifiers though if you're going against Jedi it's a guaranteed +85 to block (i.e. they will block 85% of your shots); however, the T21 is known to bypass the block rate as if they had +60 to range block.

ok interesting but the problem is i got a prenerfed belt and only 2 sockets left. Do i really have to type /aim to get a better aim or does it work without?
Cause in PvP i really dont have the time to type it but if its doing it all itself its ok :-)

You could always make a macro: /aim;/strafeshot2 or whatever you use...just put it up on your toolbar and its that simple...

If you're fighting a goodJedi, you'll have time. Otherwise you simply will not hit him.

oki cheers of course make a macro for it and use it when needed.
2 more questions.
1) you need to stand still to use aim right?
2) you can use aim up 2 3 times b4 shooting right?

As far as I know you dont have to be standing still, though I may be wrong. I only used it when training and was prone anyways. As for using it mulitple times, you can, though I dont think anyone knows if it stacks or not. Again, I could be wrong, so I dont know why I even posted...But regardless, using it multiple times means less attacks, means less overall damage, regardless of an occasional miss. So you would be better off just using it once, or 0 times.
