Well, as the title suggests, was out on dath tonite, thought id go hunt me some elders and stuff Just playing around. So i prone, take some shots on an elder, rinse and repeat till the dot lands, this happens around 115k health left, so i hit my bike take off for a while back and forth till the bleed wears off Go back, prone again, take a few more shots and when shes down to about 80-90k health she just despawns, vanishes, gone... Annoying, happened on three elders before i got bored of trying to down one and called in a tank so i could just strafe em Anyhow, this something wrong with my conceal shot, everyones conceal? stealth nerf to conceal on high level mobs... i mean.. come on?!?

Anyone got any thoughts? Similar happenings??

unfortunately working as designed. If you a leave a spawn wounded it will warp back to the starting location and a new instance of the character will spawn totally healthy. It is time and ranged dependent.

Many of us like to kite high-end MOBs like elders and krayts. Next time you draw a bleed on an elder while using conceal shot, instead of hopping on your bike have a path for where you might be able to run around safely. As she approaches run away, pop a parwan nutricake (burst run food) and if she gets within 30 meters burst run. If she continues to gain on you after your burst run wears off, burst again. Eventually you will find that she will slow down to about your normal run rate, which will allow you to keep at least 30 meters from her so that you take no damage while you continue to pummel her. If you're having trouble getting her to slow down, I like to run up and down hills as it seems to help in getting them from "fast" mode to "slow" mode.

The exciting part of kiting a MOB is of course dodging other MOBs in the area. You won't always succeed as pulling random adds happens from time to time, but it's a lot faster than using conceal shot and quite a bit more exciting.

Note about shot to use, strafeshot will aggro anything and everything within range and isn't recommended when kiting - headshot is a lot safer.
