Ok I know we have three posture change attacks that can be used. What I want to know is why none of them posture change.

Flushingshot

StartleShot

Suppressionfire1

I've used these attacks over and over, and out of 50 shots I got my target to posture change once. And a Jedi, forget about it. I can stun and dizzy but not posture change.

Also, can't you make a person stand while still standing. If not, then why when I'm dizzy if I hit the stand button do I fall down... We should be able to posture up people from a standing postition to get them DkD if the mechanics are to be consistent.

Flushingshot posture up

StartleShotposture up

Suppressionfire1 only posture down we have and only if we have the combat experience marksmen line

the posture attacks are scaled so that low level attacks have a low effiency rating (see suppresion fire 1) that is: if it a low level creature it has about a 20% chance of working, vs a high level creature less then 5%

  • posture up only forces people from prone to kneeling and kneeling to standing (so up only) Once standing it no longer does anything

  • posture down only forces people fromstanding to kneeling and kneeling to prone (so down only) Once prone it no longer does anything

both of these can be combined with a dizzy and that creates a situation when a posture change occurs that they fall down. Our posture up attacks are highly efficient but rarely do you find a NPC or PC in a kneeling or prone position.

PS: posture changes work very very rarely against 4 legged creatures (great stability I guess)

The Dizzy fall over thing only work if the posture change is voluntary. So when you are Dizzy and you try to stand up, that's voluntary and you have a chance to fall over.

So even if someone hits you with a posture down while you are Dizzy, you aren't going to flop around. At least not until you choose to try to stand.
