Surprise shot is currently broken (from the time we got it...)

It appears it was meant to be a replacement for conceal shot but it never worked out that way - it is otoh ourstrongest random pool single target attack

sorry if that was not clear - surprise shot is with a 3x damage multiplier the same as headshot 3. Many of our AOE's have higher damage multipliers but they are area. Surprise shot is useful in situations where most people in your group can not target head and you do not want to aggro things in other rooms (think the corvette or the dwb)

Make no mistake it is broken - it does not do what it says it does but it does have a use in its current form.

Lol i'm a noob master rifleman and sure i noticed it didnt work but I did notice it did some damage...Sometimes it is better to use than an AOE attach like when hunting ns's

and the rituals that fade away, and the roses that cease to be laid, and it's clear to me that we're one foot in a very shallow grave

Well then maybe someone needs to go into the FAQ and put

SupriseShot - Broken (however still very useful, our single greatest random HAM damage shot)

Because when i see "Broken"I take that as "doesn't do anything" so i don't use it. mabye there should be an edit as i mentioned so newb rifleman know they can use this shot, and can stop aggroing stuff they don't want to with /strafe2 lol

I will see what I can do about it.Waste is the maintainer though. It describes what it does in the FAQ, but you would to understand what the description means in relation to all our other shots for the description to stand out and mean anything.

(another thing people who master in 1-2 day never learn)

I never knew that either, I just read its decription and thought, "why would I use that when all these other shots are better?"
