Proton Rifle. Though my favorite has to be the Proton Carbine.

Proton Rifle.
I am tempted to get a Flare Gun though. That looks like a lot of fun. Pistols get a lot of fun new weapons.

Alliance Gauss Rifle if we can get it ...
proton rifle otherwise but who already has proton weapons (check the interest on this one in the commando threads)
the flare pistol sounds like something a squad leader would use...

explosive shell sniper rifle all the way for me 
as long as it hits NS harder than my trusty T-21
as long as it hits NS harder than my trusty T-21 but for looks, i'll take the sniper rifle

I have to opt for none of them. I was really hoping for weapons that would actually fit in Star Wars...like a Timms Emperor 4 Beam Tube, Dresselian projectile rifle, or the large anti-armour rifles that StormTroopers carry on away missions.
Now we are issued the G36K, and HK OICW with "proton" pasted over the name. Or we can use a harpoon gun. If all else fails, apparantly we're being issued a Massassi ink pen.
At the very least, they could've corrected the rifles they royaly pooch-screwed. Like making the T-21 into a machine gun like its supposed to be, fixing the jawa rifle into a droid-disabling ion scatter cannon, or better yet...making the spray sticks into adhesive-slingers instead of a super-weak energy twig. The list goes on and on.
Give us weapons that WERENT made in Germany dammit! Give us Star Wars!

Personally I like the Massassi Ink Rifle... Imagine the Graffity I could do....
