Title says it all, I am novice rifleman with only 1/0/0/0 trained, vcoming up on my next block. Should I go for Flurry shot 1 or save a bit extra and get HS3? Which is better and which will help me more, Is HS3 very effective?

head shot 3 sucks..... i USED to use flurry 1 but dizzy is now nerfed BIG TIME.... i say get sniping 2 for accuracy or consealment 1 for conseal shot for soloing.....

I'd go with conceal shot. If you have some free time on your hands you can solo almost anything with it. I tried to solo a giant krayt dragon the other day with it, but after I spamed conceal shot about 100 times I walked away to get a soda. When I got back I saw that my mind pool was gone and my next shot would be a normal shot. Well, I tried to peace as fast as I could, but it was too late. I fired 1 regular shot at the dragon, he saw me and systematicaly removed my organs from my body. If I would have been paying more attention I would have had no problem soloing him. So go with conceal shot.

Conceal works form me. You might have to camp 5 times to kill anything substantial, but it works.

Hmm it sounds like a combination of Muon Gold and Conceal shot I could kill just about anything.

exactly how effective is conceal shot? how much damage does it do in relation to other skills? What HAM bar does it affect - random? I'm seriously considering getting this skill next instead of progressing up the sniping tree right away.

Oh yeah, and how long can you fire at them with this shot before they charge at you?

I'd say Concealshot does about the same dmg as Headshot 2 but Random pool so its far less effective.

Whats wrong with Headshot3????? i havea prenerfed T21 and i can headshot3 kimos for about 2k-5k dmg. Sick a Rancor on that stupid lizard and you got yourself One Dead kimo.
