Go buy a crate or individual powerups (they look like little gun barrels) and drag it onto your gun. You will get a "You have powered up xxgunxx yada yada" message. It increases the damage, speed and other traits while making your gun decay slightly faster from use. Most powerups have 100 uses so if you use auto fire alot be prepared to buy them by the crate load

Can anyone tell me how that range modifiers work?
I bought Powerups that say +14% more range, but i still can't shoot wider than that 64m though its working on a bud's one? And yes i used them properly on the gun.

You cannot shoot further than 64m under any circumstances. The power-ups you purchased will increase your accuracy by 14% within that 64m. For example, if you get +100 to accuracy at ideal range on a weapon, those power-ups will give you +114 accuracy at ideal range on that weapon.

You will never be able to shoot past 64m. The game engine doesnt allow it. I think that powerup increases your accuracy across the 64m range to some extent.... not sure. Also, be aware that sometimes it will APPEAR you are shooting farther especially when attacking very LARGE targets. That is because the distanceyou see on your screenis measured to their "center of gravity" but you only have to be in 64m of their closest part.... I Think.

Good point Wayne. I noticed this in particular on krayts where you can often shoot from 70m or so

Interestingly enough, you can throw poisons from 80m. Throwing farther than you can shoot with a heavy rifle? Tell me that's not idiotic.

Actually a poison or disease that is fully experimented for range can be thrown 90 metres, witha 20m AOE that means a combat medic can hit people 110m away, close to double the max range of "ranged" professions. I think all the rifles we have right now were actually meant to be like the ak-47s of the SWG world. I know for a fact the T-21 is a heavy repeating blaster, meant for assault and not stealthy snipering.
