Thread: need some tips-going rifleman

hey everyone, i have been a fencer for some time and a couple professions before it but i have always loved rifles but never been a rifleman. i am currently working on the marksman part of rifles and then ill be on to the rifles, im at rifles 2 working on 3 and at ranged support 3 and i want to know what i should do to get to novice rifleman pretty fast and then what i should do?, dont worry about my armor i have a full suit of comp armor and a crate of brandy, also what guns should i use?

Right now I would suggest a Laser Rifle.
As for XP. It's going to be harder at the lower levels than you probably had with Fencer. You are going to be very slow and if something gets close to you you'll be hard pressed to hit it.
Find whatever you are comfortable killing and take it out. Also group with a droid/pet for the XP bonus.

i actually suggest you NOT use a comp suit, rifle special's tend to have a large cost at your mind and you must have as much mind as you can...
i personally wear ubese pants and chest plate and thats it and im doing fine

ok buddy one word mind,attack the mind with head shots and mind shots,make sure you master combat medic,they have a mind poison deliver unit c.targer the mind and you will own them all,i swear to god.

he is a fencer already - why should he give up a great skill to take CM? Remember all don't want to be combat medics. Plus in PVE combat medics are very weak - their damage per sec is really low. if you wanted all Mind Shots in PVE go Rifle/ Swordsman
