You talkin about PvP or Pve?

If its PvP it wont be easy...

If its PvE use conceal shot until the enemy is weak then hit it hard.

/aim it costs 2 skill points , 1st box in far right column of marksman, increases your accuracy. Plus check your weapons accuracy, some are more accurate than others. Such as the acid rifle (disruptor) usually about+98 within 50 m, beet the t21's +17 or what ever it is. Jawa's tend to me more accrurate to. Invest 2 skill points in /aim and try it out.

Its up close so accuracy will suck all the time. My suggest was a way to keep them away from you, or have a tank (Pet, droid, other player) to help you out. Cause once an animal gets close to a riflemen, your pretty much **edit**ed.

I believe warning shot will make the target not charge you.

Master marksmen helps with accuracy

dxr-6b rifle helps as it is more accurate then most weapons we have

accuracy foods will help

accuracy SEA's (cost lots ^_^ ) work

also I would like to point something out to you JoJo4567 in the EULA paragraph 1

1. Accounts are available only to adults or, in their discretion, their minor child of at least thirteen years of age (for the purposes of this Agreement, a "minor child" is a person of at least thirteen years of age who has not reached the age of majority under the law of the jurisdiction in which he or she resides). If you are a minor child, your parent or guardian must complete the registration process, in which case he or she takes full responsibility for all obligations under this Agreement. By clicking the "I Accept" button, you represent that you are an adult and are accepting this Agreement either on behalf of yourself or your minor child. You may not transfer or share your Account with anyone, except that if you are a parent or guardian, you may permit one minor child to use the Account instead of you (in which case you may not use that Account). You are liable for all activities conducted through the Account, and parents or guardians are liable for the activities of their minor child. Corporations and other entities are not eligible to procure Accounts.

if you're REALLY set on sharing a 'file', and I assume you mean a SWG account, remember that you can have TEN characters on ten different servers.

instead of master artisan, you can spend those skill points on combat skills (like master marksman)... but you'll have to start over on another 'galaxy'. if you're thinking about PvP, this is really your only viable option... other than getting your own account, and essentially doing the same thing.

whether or not your EULA violation of sharing the account is something SOE cares about is another matter, and can only really be answered by the SWG legal department.

In PVE when I'm charged and surrounded by mutilple, or just one creature Warning Shot works like a champ. It will not only stop some creatures from charging you, but it will also cause some creatures that are already right on top of you to flee so you can use headshot2/3 on them once they flee into the correct range. Here's how...

1- Once creature has chraged you stop whatever attacks you have spammed and do a clear.

2- Spam that creature with Warning Shot.

3- Once creature begins to turn to flee stop spamming Warning Shot and clear.

4- Immediately start spamming a combo of

/aim

/headshot2/3

You should be able to hit the creature up o two times with headshot2/3 before it's right on top you again. If that's the case just repreat the 4 steps above.

In order to do specials such as /aim and /warningshot you must have obtained those skills from Ranged Support in the Marksman tree.

I hope this helps you somewhat. Good luck and happy hunting!

well he did mention that his concerns were about

PVP

so... here's what you do first. Ok three options:

1. Drop Master artisan and invest in doctor skills. You're a master medic. Take the plunge and become a doc. You can heal states, cure poison/disease. Good stuff.

2. Drop Master Medic down to either 0030 medic, or just novice medic. Use your remaining skills to pick up a melee class. Swords would probably be good.

3. If you keep getting beat down at close range:

Burst Run!

And get a DXR-6.. very high accuracy mods on that gun

Yes, he did, but this is still an open forum for ALL Riflemen so I firgured that it couldn't hurt to add a strategy that I've had luck with for others to see and maybe decide to use. Besides, somebody else had mentioned using Warning Shot in an earlier reply and that won't do any for PVP, at least not that I've noticed.
