Well I'm a novice rifleman and I need some tips on grinding. Would it help to kill crap as a TKM and get a load of combat exp?
And, what should I kill to start myself off? I have 70% kinetic ubese....and a set of 80% composite somewhere....
I also have a buttload of brandy and canape aswell as a good laser rifle with a crate of stocks I load up on it....
Help please?

actually killing a bunchj of stuff and maxing your combat xp is not a bad idea no matter what combat profession you change to... so do that as well ^_^

The way I've been doing it is killing Quenkers with a spraystick. I bought a nice 1.8 speed ~200 max damage spraystick and 70% ubese from a vender. Just shoot at the quenker lair to get the two spawns out and kneel in the center of the four spawns while spamming PointBlankArea1. So far I've gotten to 3/1/0/2 this way.

Since you are a TKM, you can combine rifle grinding with combat exp grinding once you get an area rifle attack.
Fight moderately difficult mobs (those that give you 1500 to 2500 exp). Pop off 3 or so of your area attacks with a relatively fast rifle. This will do a nice bit of damage. As they get to you, switch to VKs and finish them all off with spin attacks. As long as you time the switch out of rifle properly (and if you're buffed, the timing doesn't have to be all that good), this should be a very safe and very fast way to kill lots of mobs.
