dont forget the floaty number also only has a display range of -50 to +50 you can have far more or far less accuracy than the floaty display can show.

I know that was just a typo Fred.
Add Rifle Accuracy to that 'floaty' number. Also add Rifle Aiming if and only if('fof' for you math geeks
) you are using the /aim command at the time.

+116 at ideal is VERY good on the gun. typical is +80ish. Ideal is the best range to use that gun at. THe guys above are correct.

Nice mods, if you PVP, this just became your new friend for sticking states.

i recently bought a dx rifle and its range mod were
71- @ 0m
116+ @ 50m
16+ @ 63m
is this any good what exaclty does it mean is it to do with dmage or accuracy? please shead alittle lite on the matter i have a brief idea but would really like to have a full understanding.

when you target a bad guy, you may have noticed a little number shows up next to him. LIke say, +20. That shows what chance you have to hit him.
Being at Ideal range, which on that rifle you have is 50 meters, will boost your chance to hit him by a factor of 116.
If he's right on top of you your chance to hit will be reduced by 71.
Different guns have different modifiers at Ideal, Min and Max ranges.
