Go to Corellia or Tatooine or any other planet that has a lot of hunts going out. Join as many as you can, and spam your best specials at the big beasts while the party's bull destroyer Rancors andraging Kimosand spice-freaked TKAs do the tanking.You will gain XP so fast it will make you dizzy.
A novice marksman will raise to 3002 and get a good 20K in mission cash in a single large hunt session. Then go shopping for that shiny new Laser Rifle, get that beauty sliced to the max and trick her out with some upgrades. Pick up a crate of Muon Gold and hit the hunt circuits.

FAQ "tips for rifleman" was very old it was written a "few" patches ago what is the first box I should fill up 0,1,0,0 or what the "tips for rifleman" said 1,0,0,0?

ok i just started the rifleman proffesion, i am a wookie and i have been using a bowcaster, 3.8 spd 160-295 dmg range. as of right now i am only rifles 3 will get novice tonight... should i just stick with the bowcaster till i get novice or should i go find a laser rifle.... just some thoughts form the rifle community. this and pikeman is one of the only combat proffs i have never tried...

Get a Laser Rifle. It has higher AP and will do more damage. Once you hit Novice get some T21's and get them sliced. Use any that get speed slices. Any that get a damage slice put away for when you hit Master.

Laser Rifles are a novice riflemans best friend. Its high end damage is usually really nice and the are a rapid fire rifle compared to most othe rrifles, only down side is that they have a very low low-end dmg, so you rdmg envelope looks like 75-450... thats a huge range, that was what mine was. There are ways to close taht up, but I opt'd for mine to get a spd slice so I was shooting at 3.0 ish. The T21s are your personal connons, get one, love it, and only pull it out when you know your gonna use it. Slow as hell, but is more then capable of putting evens down in one good headshot. Mine for example is 7.0 spd 374-653 dmg with a power up attached. HAM isnt too bad. So, hang that bowcaster up over your fireplace. WHen you make Rifleman, consider heading up to counter sniping 2 to get your DRX-6 Acid Rifle Cert. Nice weap that replaced my old Laser Rifle. I never leave without my T21 strapped to my speeder though.
