So, I just got back to the game after not logging in for like 6 months. It didn't take me too long to figure out stuff like speeders, player cities and how good food is now, but I'm still finding out new stuff all the time.
Anyways, I only had about 2 1/2 boxes left till master rifleman, and I ground through those pretty quick, and have been enjoying going around and killing everything. Now I have to figure out what I want to do now that I've got master.
Right now here's my skills, I'm like 99% PvE
Master rifleman
Marksman 4004
Swordsman 0200
Master scout
Ranger 0040
Swordsman has been nice when things get to melee range (especially since I got most of my experience with the 2.5 melee penalty on rifles) And rangers cool too since I'm pretty much the only source of hides for my guild, and tracking is usefull. But I think it would be worth it to drop some ranger and scout skills, and get master marksman for the +5 to rifle speed. And if I'm going to drop some, I'll probably drop everything except for scout 0040 so I can still get a decent amount of hides. That'll let me pick up the master marksman, plus some other stuff.
And that's what I'm not sure on, I could get some more swordsman, although I don't think I'll have enough skill points left to master it. I could always say screw hides, drop scoutn completely and get master.
TKM are pretty impressive too. So maybe I could mix and match TK with sword, or maybe just get TKM instead.
Pretty much, I'm out of touch with the game, and besides being fairly certain I should get master marksman, I'm not sure what best compliments my new master rifleman skills. I'm open to any ideas, even crazy stuff I haven't thought of yet, MCH? DE? Chef?

I got some really good advice over in the TK forum. And I don't think master TK would be worth it, so right now this is what I'm thinking:
Master rifleman
Swordsman 0440 (speed and defense)
TK 4004 (meditation and defense)
and then some support stuff, like scout 0040 and the ranged support line from marksman. Or maybe even medic or something. How's it look? any ideas?

u need to be a medic as well...at least in todays' game
a 4-4-4-0 medic would do really good to you...even if u just pve..i find even if ur with someone in a group...they cant always heal u at the exact moment..so u might have to watch your own back from time to time.

screw 0040, i mean ... really. It really isn't that useful. Novice scout, in my opinion, gives you plenty of information about creatures when you examine them and unless you make alot of moneythrough harvest, wootpydoo!
4000 is a much better idea to get the Terrain Negotiation.
In my opinion, if you want to go PvEuse one of these templates (assuming you want master riflemen).
OPTION ONE: Master Riflemen
Commando 0440
Smuggler 0010
Teras Kasi 4004

Fencer 4400
In this template you still have master riflemen, maxxed out on ranged and melee defenses, and you have the ability to still hold your ground if you are forced to melee combat. The commando/smuggler combo takes out any PvE period... end of story. All you do is burn them with the flame thrower three times (Flame single1, flame single2, flame cone1), then it will burn for about 1k damage per burn tick (if not higher). Once you have them burnt, Feign Death and the creature will never attack you or slain you. So you just lay on the ground acting dead (healing if you need to) while the creature takes the burn DoTs. Understand that the burn DoT is not resistable, so even if they have 100% resistances to heat, as long as you get that burn on them, 1k damage per tick.
OPTION TWO: Master Riflemen
Master Doctor
This is pretty self explanitory. Its also very good PvP as well. Attack like a mad dog with full buffs on. If you get in trouble, one stim pack and you should be compleatly healed and ready to continue. If you start taking bleeding, burn, poison, dizzy... heal that too!
Now this is just my personall opinion. Not sure how many people would agree with me. I personally use the first template. Nothing in the game is too big for me now. lol ... not even super battle droids. I go in with a full group (my friends) and they all get mad at me when i feign death.
"Darn you! Get up and help us!"
"No... i'm a fraid of the dark! Plus i am ... i am burning the whole place to the ground! GWAHAHAHAAA"
hope this helps....
P.S. sorry for my previous post... just ignore it .... my computer is stupid and wanted to do something on its own.

I am a Master Doc and Master Rifle. This is a great combo but know that you will have very little melee defense....however with good armor, your own buffs, and stimpacks this can easily be dealt with. As for PvP, you are fine as long as you have a nice T-21 equipped and dont get knocked down. So use those anti-knockdown foods as well as brandy.
You can also cure any state in the game as long as you have the appropriate medicine.
First thing I would do is drop the last 4 in your marksman line. Now that you are Master Rifle you dont need it...okay there is a knockdown in there but you dont really need it for PvE or PvP.
Get SOME type of madic skill even if it is novice medic...trust me.
Master Scout is really not need Unless you want to be the Ranger Type. IMO just get novice scout and terrain negot. You can always get a harvest droid (which are slow).
I am MD and MR and have like 18 SP left over and the COOL thing is I can switch between anything. Right now I am scout, but I can easily drop that if I want to get Artisan for surveying....this way I can both harvest and survey for my own resources to make my own buffs....although I must say as a Master Rifleman, I can solo 32k Mokk or 28K Janta (blood drops) all day long and just buy the resources I need...I mainly buff myself.

TKA is great, I'm doing it know for 4304, meditate, ranfed defense, melee defense, and state defenses. Meditate sort of negates the nead of advanced medic skills.. you can cure poison/disease/wounds with it. But novice medic can help with advanced stim B's. Or go 0030 Medic for Stim C's.
I'm more PvP oriented, but the fact remains that rifleman have very little defenses, so I would advise getting some, especially melee defense for hunting. Swords are awesome, but not a lot of defense. Your Swords/TKA plan is pretty solid, but uses a lot of skillpoints. I would say don't wrroy about hitting them at close range, as master rifleman you can T21 a critter at point blank, so long as you've already taken him down a few notches from a distance.
