Rifleman Archive

Any pistol skills? I took on pistols initially for the close in as I was not able to get good damage at point blank. Now that I am certified with the spraystick, that issue is solved, not to mention that as I progress in Rifleman, fewer adversaries can get to me before I take them down. So, should I dump Pistols I,II,III. I'm thinking of the defensive bonuses that pistols is good for, but that will become less of a factor as my rifleman defense stats go up. Your thoughts?

Depends on this part, I'd say. As long as you can consistently do this, you won't really need anyclose-range skills unless you want them. The defensive bonuses from Pistoleer are good, but moreso from a PvP perspective than a PvE one in my opinion. If you want defenses that go well with Rifleman, try 4/x/x/4 TKA or Fencer 4/x/x/x. Or both Scout 3/x/x/x will get you terrain negotiation which is very nice. Novice Medic lets you use stim Bs. At Master, you can get by ok without other defenses, but I do highly recommend them
