I'm currently a Master Artisan/Master Marksman/Master Rifleman and mechant 3000. I do an okay business selling bikes/speeders and various other artisan items, and so don't want to drop merchant or master artisan, but have 15 skill points left. What do people think it'd be worth putting these last 15 points into? I can only get one novice skill or 3 low level skills in pistoleer/carbineer. Any ideas?

I agree, you will probrably get the most for your buck with medic. I dont think you would get much out of any other novice class except maybe brawler just in case something gets close or scout just for GP skills.

Yep, Take Novice Medic.. maybe 2000 if you can scrape it together.
Stim B are good, and Woundpacks B, stored in a Medical Droid help you
to heal yourself after combat.

Pistoleer xxx1 gets you a Melee Knockdown.
Novice Medic gets you, well you know what it gets you.
Those are the options as I see them, and I'd go with Medic.

Go with the Novice medic. Its well worth the 15 sp's to be able to heal yourself and those around you if you don't have a medic on hand, way out in the boonies. Non-medical personnel should be able to use basic med supplies, but thats a whole other rant.

Here's a possibility: Get Novice Scout. Great for Harvesting stuff, get some Contracts going and bam. Lot of money to be had there from what I understand, my guildmates do contracts and are getting paid millions.

You know, its my understanding you can keep the vendors you have from Merchant even if you drop Mercnant. Seems like you're in it more for the planetary map stuff though. Persoinally I'd reccomend Novice Brawler, if you're into PvP at all. The initimidate state is the hardest to defend against, it shuts down secondary defenses and reduces damage output of an opponent.
If you're more PvE, take the novice medic.

actually vendors will be removed from those who do not qualify for them soon, it is considered a priority fix by the devs... read the merchant forums. So if you intend to keep your vendors do not drop merchant

I sure hope they increase the bazaar limit to 100k!

Sekai,
Not that I have anything against Master Marksman, but perhaps you could consider dropping it. I mean, it does add to the Rifleman experience as a whole, but it's really not necessary for you to hang on to. By only hanging onto the Rifle tree, you would free up quite a few skill points to spend elsewhere. Perhaps you could drop Carbines and Ranged support and then dabble in Pistoleer or move up the Brawler tree until you're able to get some low level TK stuff. If you choose to keep Master Marksman though, then Medic isa really good idea, as it will allow you to heal yourself and others. Scout would also work, as you would be able to harvest hides and such for your Artisan profession. There are plenty of possibilities, you just have to decide on what you want to do with the character.

Novice Medic F0R T3H W1N !!!!!111!!!ONE!
Seriously, medic is a lifesaver. No better way to spend your points, although Scout wouldn't be bad - Stim Bs help a ton in combat.
