Thread: Need Help With Prof Choice! READ!

Hey im a master rifleman and i dropped everything other than that, because i was tired of my other profs. so what proffession is good with rifleman that i should pursue? I NEED HELP!!

First off, you should have given up skills only when necessary even though you were sick of them. Especially if they had defense mods. While you are working up your new tree, they could have been useful. Anyways, here are some popular choices for Riflemen:
Combat Medic
Doctor
Swordsman
Squad Leader
Ranger
Fencer
Pikeman
TKA
And I guess you can add Bounty Hunter to that now.
What do you want this for? PvE? PvP? Fun Factor? Groups/Support? Soloing? Power? Defense? All/None of the above? With this info, we can narrow the list down to what is going to be most beneficial to you. While this is a good place to seek a recommendation, the final decision should be left up to you.

well im a hardcore PvPer, so i guess, i have to ask you guys, whats the next best damage in PvP other than stun???

Aside from Lightsaber......Stun might be the best. It's getting less and less useful though. Acid is good to have. I guess Acid and maybe Electricity are the best? Composite armor kinda makes that question unanswerable

any damage because they are all resisted the same, but i'd say electricity (cause it's capped at 80%) or kinetic / acid cause they bypass psg's. but the best dmg type besides stun is lightssaber

ok well, can anyone share some stories about thier other prof? perhaps how it saved them, or how its better, or a good counterpart with rifleman?

MRM/TKM pistoleer 0040 and pikeman 0030 are what I have. And it works well.

Well, personally I am Master Rifleman, TKM, Pistoleer 0042, Novice Medic. I find that this works very well for both PvP and PvE. Your state defenses are not as good as with Master fencer, however you get the ability to heal poison and wounds, Do a mild self buff, and use Force of Will. I like it very much.
