Thread: Master Rifleman/Master Marksmen question

Wondering if i master rifleman is the advantage of keeping master marksmen worth it.Example whould Mrifle MMarksmen and the Fencer(4400 or 0440)and Pistoleer Defences(0044) be more effective then say a Mrifle/TKM and the Fencer defenses(4440). With each one would i be able to PvP the most effective with and which would i be able to most effectivleySolo PvE.

So the only thing i would lose would be speed. Which i could purchase and how much does thatusually cost.

what kind of stat mitigation set up should i use with templates i mentioned above? or maybe a guide that tells me what each stat does for me and why i would care.

The 90 speed of master rifle means you hit the cap if weaponspeed*special modifier <= 10

The 95 speed of mm+mr means you hit the cap if weaponspeed*speacial modifier <= 20


So, it comes down to getting that little bit of speed to keep capping with the higher damage specials vs the skill points required.


Which is part of why riflespeed skilltapes are so very expencive ingame when they have decent numbers, taking it to 97 or more means getting to the point of almost being assured of hitting the cap.

I tried both and found it depends on whether you find yourself in close range more often or not. If you frequently get attacked in melee then pick up TKM if anything to just lay some states and KD them to get back at range. If you are almost always able to keep yourself at range then the extra speed helps a lot. I was lucky enough to find someone selling a +8 riflespeed on my server so naturally I can now have the best of both worlds.

*Health: Your actual health, if it reaches 0 you are incapped.

**Strength: Determines how much health you spend when using special abilities.

**Constitution: Determines how fast you regan your health.

*Action: You action pool is like your health pool, if it reaches 0 you are incapped.

**Quickness: Determines how much action you spend when using special abilities.

**Stamina: Determines how fast you regan your action.

*Mind: You mind pool is like your health and action pools, if it reaches 0 you are incapped.

**Focus: Determines how much mind you spend when using specials.

**Constitution: Determines how fast you regan your Mind.

As a rifleman the absolute most important stats to have are your mind pool stats. The most important of those is your focus stat. Without a high focus it is VERY easy to kill yourself through specials then your enemy can kill you. Most people will max out all three mind stats no matter what profession they are. This is because the other six stats can be greatly enhanced by doctors. If you are looking to be able to pick up any old rifle and spam any special you want you should have a focus of around 1600+. This can be obtained through Musician buffs, brandy, canape, arhise, and moun gold. If you are wearing armor it will encumber all your secondary stats so you will have to buff your mind even more to reach the 1600+ mark.
