Thread: NS Elders disappearing during conceal shots, grr.

Not sure what's going on, but today I had 3 different elders disappear on me in the middle of conceal shotting them. These weren't in the stronghold, they were about 500M outside/around it.
I would say each time they disappeared after about 15 min of me using conceal shot on them, jumping on my bike till they weren't aggro on me, conceal some more... each time I could only get em down to about 75%, and I'm a spd capped RM/Master doc using a damage sliced t21 at about 530max.
Is this technique causing them to disappear? is there a better technique for rifleman?

No, you just took too long to kill them and they despawned. That's one of the reasons most of us don't use use concealshot unless it's an emergancy at master......that and it can get very boring.

you could probaly solo it just using Headshot3, since u got master doctor.

Well, I tried the headshots only, somehow she started just walking instead of running, so the job was easy to finish. After double-clicking her body, expecting to see credits, I got the "You have completely looted the corpse of all items" message, just to check my inventory and snicker at this:

Your one lucky b*stard, too bad it not a amazing exceptional loot, acutally it pretty bad

I've been able to conceal shot an elder to almost killing her. She never aggroed me till she was somewhere around 50k health/action/ Mind was way up however. I finished her off as I'm Master swordsman as well.
I don't think conceal shot makes them disappear as so far never done it for me. However if they agrome andItry to get away to break agro they have despawned on me just about every time.

Yeah but they throw states so damn fast and those chokes.. not to mention they hit me for 2K today 
Do Mindshot 1 and 2 stack btw?

Sometimes when I poison a sentinal and am kiteing they seem to warp right back to where the action started. last night I had one warp 400m. If I go back to where I first met then there she is with the damage not healed.

The warping is the biggest problem i have been having with soloing elders.
I am preparing for jedi, and really dont want to pay 4mill for a crystal which will probably tune to rubbish so ive been collecting for my own personal use, or possible a nice exceptional t21 to use should a BH track me down.
Anyways...
I changed my temp to prepare for jedi so stopped hunting elder for a week and now i notice that should i get KD'd whilst running i seem to slide forever, then warp back to the original point where i was KD'd, even elders have been walking around and suddenly appear a further 50ms away, much like GDKs when they are low on health.
BTW i know this isn't the correct forum, but when using Feign death i still have agro on the NS, is there a way to peace them so that when i stand up again they wont continue attacking?

no using feign does not remove aggro - just gives you time to regen. has been note for almost a year.
