Not being able to use mounts or shuttles or burst run is really getting on my nerves... how do you get out of cover?

to break cover now you need to log out for at least 20 mins
or you could alternatively try the shift+esc disconnect menu in a house/pa hall/cantina.

lol... it's so buggy it crashes when I try to disconnect... Why exactly does the game crash so much? I mean if it's like this when it goes live.. I don't think I can play anymore.

Loaded up TC over the weekend and decided to check out some of the new things. Grabbed up MR, some scout and Carbineer (meh.. needed it for the battle armor cert) along with various weapons and took a quick trip to Lok. I tried out the new conceal option (nice to see this is viable in game) but like many others found that conceal shot or any other for that matter basically meant that after performing an attack sent the creature/npc right to me. Another thing I noticed and not so eager to see back is where the targets drift on you after you go prone, conceal and attempt to get a shot off but hey, a return to old style isn't that bad is it?
One thing I did notice is that I could stand, run and even hang out near same faction NPC without having the conceal break. I was also able to stand under two enraged Kimo's who happen to be standing in front of the Imperial Llamda shuttle which brought the troops by. After playing around and getting stuff started between the npcs and kimos I headed back to Tatooine to see if I'd break conceal on shuttle. To my surprise I was still under cover and would assume that those around me couldn't see me or only a ghost outline of my character. Either way it would be nice if it stayed in game as a feature just so I can avoid pesky players from stumbling across me when I shuttle around.

/cover is an ability that should only work while prone - the ability to run around and never have to crack is a bug that will be fixed.

few things to consider:
- rangers can track you (and as per a current bug /tar <yourname> can also find you)
- players can see the particle effects of your shots
- cover is to likely break whenaPC/NPC/Creatureis with in 15m of you
- can't db from cover
- cover can randomly break on each shot you take (read the descriptions on conceal shot - the only shot that does not autobreak cover)
- Conceal shot is the only shot that is not supposed to break cover with the first shot (as per the description)
so being by yourself and sniping = you will die if more then one SF is around.

That doesnt make sense! Sniper shot should be a Conceal type shot too!

I miss the old days of MRM/MR as this allowed one to be the closed to a sniper as possible in this game. I'd keep crates of camo kits on hand for each planet and apply them before getting into position. After finding a suitable group of red con agros I'd apply the kit and sit in the middle waiting for overts to run by. Many swoops and unsuspecting overts were dropped using this as when many overts drive past creature/npc lairs. Most who'd do a quick examine of a liar would go through the list so fast they wouldn't notice a player name imbedded within a group of agros; kuusak, kuusak, kuusak (baby), kuusak, player name, kuusak, kuusak lair.
