Thread: How does speed work on CU

The devs have stated there will be no cap on speed as currently, as the speed calculation is done with a curve of diminishing returns. Ie., going from +10 to +15 rifle speed may make a noticable difference, but going from +50 to +55 will have a much smaller effect.
From my testing on TC so far, it seems that this is true, but it is a little hard to gauge because I did the rifle stuff in marksman 1 box at a time, but I put on all of rifleman at once off the frog. I can say for certain that +100 in general ranged + rifle speed does not mean guaranteed 1 shot per second.
The question about rifle speed affecting warm up / cool down is a good one, I'd be interested knowing that also. I may play around later and see what I can determine about that.

Is it true that there is no speed cap?
Will it actually be better to have modded clothes with +15, 20, 25 speed?
Does it help with warm up cool down?
