What template gives the most total rifle speed (general ranged speed + rifle speed).

Master Rifles is a must, but I want to see what else other come up with. Having a root would be nice.

So far I've got MRifles, MSmuggler, Pistol 3xxx, Combat Prowess 44xx giving a total of 137 rifle speed.

Any advance?

I'm not sure what the answer to that is, but I wouldn't go too overboard on trying to max out your rifle speed. For one thing, you can only fire specials so fast, with their timers, and for another, the speed calculation formula gives you diminishing returns the higher your speed mod is. By the time you're up near that 137 mark you mentioned, you'll beseeing very small actual speed increases for any given increment of speed mod increase. I'd work on improving your accuracy mods if you want to do more damage, personally.

Well I was MRifles, MBH, Marksman 44x4, Pistols 4xx4 (accuracy 260, speed 130) to my current, which is MRifles, MBH, MMarksman, Pistol xxx3 (acc. 285, speed 135) and that put me up from 560 mod DPS to 589 mod DPS (then my lovely smuggler friend got a 2% speed slice, putting me up to 597 mod DPS).

Going to MRifles, MSmuggler, MMarksman, Combat Prowess 44xx puts it to 272 acc, 137 speed. (Which seems like a nice trade of accuracy for a 40s root. Once/if that gets 'fixed' then I can always swap back to this template.)

The added root is the factor here - I've been helping a friend get heavy weaps xp, and we can take on rancors and kill them very quickly with his concussion shot.

What are people's opinions?
