Thread: Macro post-CU
1) it always defaults to the highest skill you have now - your old lower skills are locked out.
2) sorry not really as it is non efficient to macro post cu.

Thanks. Honestly trying to figure out how to play again LOL
I actually have been able to get some macros working well with /pause # in replace of timers. What is meant by "non efficient"? Not flexible enough? Can you stack somehow? I could see macros not being useful for PvP but I have regrind my template and could use some learnin'

macros have no way to adjust for the changing timers on specials when they fire so you will be reduced to the speed of the slowest attack that you have in the macro.
if you hit three attacks in your macro the last one is the one that will always go off (as onlyone attack can be queued up)
Auto attack replaces macros (ctrl+click on a attack action)
you can not auto target attacking targets anymore - tabbing no longer works

even with a /pause timer? From experimenting it looked if you have a macro that took into account the warmup time and then fired the next action, but with a similar /pause it was working. BUT I could be wrong.
ALSO: what is Speed now? Do we need a higher or lower speed on our weapons?. I genuinely couldn't find that listed on the main CU docs.
I understand the importance of SAC -- just trying to figure out what speed is now. Thanks again.

It would work but depending on the previous attack your cooldown/warm up the pause needed will change. And in some cases it appearsthat thecooldown willfor attacks willpause entirely until another attack is used first.
