This is a misquote, by "slower" I meant movement rate with rifle equipped, not rate of fire.
There is much concern about rifleman damage right now (was asked in about every pvp and ranged profession forum) , however before we look at damage ranges I wanted to see what the feedback on putting more of the drawbacks in other areas such as movement speed. Sorry if it came across as rate of fire, that ballroom had lots of reverb going on in it so I am not sure if everyone was able to hear everything clearly.
Making a seperate post since I see it as my duty to make sure my previous post is disregaurded since it was misleading do to myself reposting 2'nd hand info. Sorry, I have been a rifleman so long when I see the words "Slow Down" I freak.
Hell I can live with a movement reduction, It does'nt give up our range and does not result in bad things.

How is it not that bad? Were already the slowest, have the highest action cost, and the greatest accuracy penalties. All for what? 100 or so more damage then pistols and a little extra range that, soon, we won't even have due to cybernetics not appling for past 65 meters?

Well if they take away our cyber arm bonus I agree with you, this would be unfair.
I have not heard anyone saying that they were and believe me I search the forums for info like that.
