Somewhere in the forums i saw someone talking about the use of adv. startlein pvp. But it is totally useless against melee players, right?I have only startle shot for now and it says it stops enemy from using prone attacks etc. Does it change when you get adv. startle shot(like it stops enemy from using any weapon for a delayed time)?

and btw can someone explain startle shot+disarming shot combination too? why using startle before disarming shot if they work the same?

starltshot wears off before you can fire it again. if you switch between startle and disarming, they arm permanently delayed.

Since I am BH/Rifles/Pistoleer 0/0/0/4, this is what I do:
I start the duel off with underhand shot, which knocks them down, followed by startle; this keeps them on the ground for a minimum of 5 seconds, or until I damage them again. I follow this up with sniper shot (after going prone of course) then switch off between critical and head, possibly dizzy then underhand again if the duel permits it (if I need to use it again that is). For Melee, I do the same, but throw in a stopping shot after startle breaks on damage.

so when I use it on a knocked down player s/he can't get up or if standing s/he can't prone etc.. right? Ifthat's so today I tested it with one of my friends first I KD him but when I starte shot he immediately got up and continued to hit me(btw he was a melee). Any help will be appreciated, thanks.

thanks Geddeo, that thread helped a lot but one more question: startle cancels the next attack of any kind, not just ranged but melee too?
