Against opponents that don't run faster than me.

Well the good news I have a Master Commando I travel with that makes sure everything I fight is far from me
Yea I went hunting last night with a Ranger, a Commando, a Combat Medic and a Bounty Hunter.. two grauls, a host of Gurrecks..
We ran into a mob of spiders...
I'm the only one who lived. Gotta love long range fighting. (And burst run hahahaha)
Boy do I hear that. Me and a few of my buddies (and in-game peers, levelwise) went off to kill Huurton Stalkers and other sundry mobs on Dantooine the other night. I'djust recently received the Flushing 2 ability and was positively LOVING it (yes i'm kinda noob, never had any experience with good AOE shots). I've even started hunting with my BH buddy again (oh the jealously, rage and helplessness I felt at 0 0 0 0 Rifleman when he got his first LLC)
There came a point where we were tangled up with a Stalker lair and 20m away a lair of those Pikehorn thingys (whatever their name is). Things got out of hand when one of our number panicked when a non-aggressive Pike creature came sniffing. He fired on it and suddenly creatures from both lairs descended upon everyone in the valley. I sawStalkers, PCs, Pets and Pikehorns(?) all mixed together in a crazy burly brawl, lasers and lightningblasts flying in every which direction...incaps and last second desperation heals and howls of pain as a beloved pets went down...
...And therewas I,perched 60m awayon a hill at the edge of the valley where the carnage was taking place...safe and sound with my T21, slightly buffed Focus and Flushing 2, and loving every minute of it (and raking in great XP to boot). Once the dust cleared I wasn't even scratched and gallantly offered up the use of my stims and Pet-stims to the poor souls stumbling in off the front lines ![]()
Yes I use a pet...I don't group often so I figure since I consider myself the 'English Longbowman' of SWG I'm justified in havinga good knightlyPC or Pet type to get in the way of the hordes of foreign invaders... But like any creature-user in this game it has made me almost untouchable to many mobs I wouldn't dare confront otherwise.
Cheesy or not, it's seeing me (very quickly I must say) through some tough grinding times up the Rifleman tree. Anything to getto thatBlazing Light of Glory at the End of the Road (Master Rifleman).
