Thread: non-BAF mobs?
Had a break from SWG for a couple of weeks.. come back and now all the mobs i used to hunt are BAF (Daly's and Torturs on Talus) - Do the devs not want ppl to solo anymore or something?
Are there are reasnoble exp giving non BAF mobs left anywhere in the galaxy?
they arent good xp non baf mobs i know of since last patch.
all the good old mobs that gave decent xp now baf
best advice

best advice i can give youis get a decent pet (GSP or higer, the higer the easiest
) and let him tank while u shoot
as a non CH pet cant no-more handle the mobs if they baf at 2-3 or more
a big pet helps so much riflexp wise; a graul mauler (havent tried the normal graul with it but i think he can do pretty good also) can easily tank a tortue lair, just send him in, prone and shoot![]()
i think the investissment put in CH is worth it if u want to focus on rifle
no need to get a graul mauler , just a GSP makes it lot easier
u can always delete your CH skills once your master riffle
well thats my 2 cents cos that new baf thing also made mechange my strategie![]()
I can relate. When the last patch hit it was a low point for my rifleman. I couldn't solo anything decent and I read a posting hear saying they will NEVER EVER get range beyond the 65m because of programming. I was hunting with a commando that day and he was hitting lairs for 25K points and I was plinking away wiht my rifle getting nowhere. My response was .. "I QUIT". I actually bought a pistol and carbine and started the march of the marksman ladder.
However when I thought about it I really didn't want to give up on rifleman. So I went back to it and found with the new BAF rules rileman xp was very difficult. Finally I did what everyone else does ... spent a few days getting the necessary xp to go CH 1-1-0-0 and bought a few GSP's. Now I can hit bigger things and make decent progress with xp. I think it sucks that you need to take another profession to make yours work but I think its only temporary. As I get closer to master I'm hoping I"ll be able to drop CH. Maybe I'm a sell out .. but rifleman is fun again and that is all that matters.
Please tell me how you edited your post! I am sure I am not the only one that would like to know as I have heard people mention many times on these forums that they wish there was an edit feature!
Their filters are very specific, it only checks between the white space.
I'm not sure, but I think it parses out the offending word out of other text, like **edit**ing might read **edit**ing, but I won't know for sure until I see the post.
On Dantooine, fight Pikets.
Fierce piket protectors -aggro - avoid them
Plains walkers - don't know
Longhorn - Longhorns will help if you shoot them or any other piket around the lair
Females- If you spawn a lair of3 females, cheer and settle in for a good 30-40K xp. None of them BAF.
Though people are answering you, they are not directly answering your question. There are still some higher end mobs you can solo. Many mob types have "rogue" varieties. Being rouges, they are not social and, so, they will be found alone. Of course, the rouges are usually agressive, so you need to take more care hunting them, but on the up side, being aggressive, they give you a little more XP than the non-aggressive varieties.
I used to love to hunt Fambaas on Naboo. They give good XP, but like everything else, they now BAF. So I look for Rogue Fambaas now. Of course, it helps being a Ranger to do this, but they are a common enough you can find them with a little work if you know where to look. For the more adventureous, Plains Hunters are also good XP. Though, they do not have the Rouge title, they appear to be loners as you rarely see more than one at a time, and if you do see one near by, it is usually off a good distance from the other. The problem is thatthey DB, so if you do not have good tactics, prepare for a trip to the cloning vats. Peko Pekos and their bigger Giant cousins are also good for XP. Both varieties will BAF if in a group, but they are also often found out by themselves. Even when in a group, they have a tendancy to scatter when approached and when they move off, they fly fast and far. So you can often easily isolate them by turning off maskscent and get them to separate by moving in among them.
That is Naboo, but I know there are rogue varieties of animals on other planets. Get to know the populations and you can probably find similar creatures to what I described on Naboo.
There is no edit feature, or he wouldn't have made so many posts.
When you curse, like say **edit**, **edit** or **edit**, it gets edited out through filters.
