Hi all,my alt has been a master rifleman for a coupple of months and i have a question. A standard dxr6'b has a speed of 5,6 when i craft em and the t-21 a speed of 7,3-7,4. My question is : How fast do these rifles have to to be before the speedcap kicks in and better speed stats on these weapons doesnt matter anymore?

If you are a speed capped rifleman, the speed of the rifle doesn't matter at all. It could be 93.4 speed. I don't know if I answered what you are trying to ask though.

Hi and ty for ur answer. So u mean that if i use head shot 3 with a rifle with speed 4,0 sec ill make just as many shots in one minute as with a rifle with speed 8.0sec? I am talking of the speed stat on the weapon it self. If i understand u correctly u say that a t-21 with speed 5,0 max 412 and a t-21 with speed 7,4 max 412, will deliver the same amount of damage to a target using headshot 3 for one minute? Nemis

The "speed capped" termis used relatively to the player mod, e.g. rifle speed (+90 at master). It does not "kick in" at some point, it is a passive ability. So the question in yellow should be more like "how fast should *I* have to be so that the speed stats on the rifles don't matter anymore", to which the answer is +97 in most cases.

The actual speed you're firing at is computed with a linear equation which takes 2 variables: player speed mod and weapon speed stat. When the player speed mod reaches 100, the equation will return 0 regardless of the weapon speed variable (you can use a rifle with 50.0 speed
). The 0 means you'll be firing once per second (can't get any faster than that). The +97 player speed modI mentioned previously is the treshold for a standard T21s (the slowest of the rifles) on any server, whichhas aprox.7.5 speed.

actually unless you are speed capped - speed slices increase your DPS at a much higher rate then Damage slices.
