I bought a +4 rifle speed belt without knowing it takes up the PSG slot.. So now I am stuck between a rock and a hard place. Do I:
1. Sell the belt and stock up on metacarpal boosters so I can wear a PSG
2. Keep the belt and stay 4 points closer to capped speed
I spent a good amount of credits on that belt... but that extra 40 stun resist is so tempting
So i ask for advice from my fellow riflemen and women

You bring up a good point. Those Metacarpal boosters are pretty easy to find, and they definitely put you at Speed cap. And if you jack yourself repeatedly with the boosters, well, you should be fine. Personally, I love PSGs, so I would say that you should maybe try to sell or trade the belt for a CA or AA that can be put in a better slot for you...I think that's the first option. At +4, you'll likely find someone interested in it. I hate having to wear my Pike speed belt for the same reasons as you, but at this point I haven't sold it. I'd likely only trade it. More I think about it...the boosters sound like a better idea...lol. I'd say try trading though...you'll at least get what you want then..or something close to it.

Belts are a no go area for most good PvPers, id sell the belt and invest in acouple of good PSG. In my opinion, at master rifleman your speedcapped with most rifles anyway.

Thanks for the input.
Capping speed isn't the most important thing on my list of things to do. And as far as I know a PSG is pretty necessary for PvP. I would much rather pick up an uber rifle or 1h weapon. I thought myrifles were good untilI saw some of the ones on this board
Funny how all these sweet weapons of mass destruction come from other servers.. I have yet to see arifle worthy of the rifleman forumsonmy server (valcyn).I have absolutely no luck when it comes to loot, so I doubt anything exceptional will be coming my way any time soon...
So I guess I'll stick with the spice, but I'm not too clear on where to loot it. Any mob names would be greatly appreciated
Hopefully I'll find someone who wants the belt and has something worth trading for it.

I'm new to riflemen haven't been able to find the answer to my question so I'll ask it here. What is the speed cap for riflemen? I know that with Master Riflemen and Master Marksmen you get 95 points. I looted a +13 Rifle Speed Skill Tape and want to know how much that would help me or should I just sell it?

keep it.
That thing is gold man
once you master rifleman, that tape will easily speedcap you
if its a CA, put it in a shirt

the overall cap is 115, but once you hit 97 most rifles hit 1.0 speed which is the cap for weapon speed. But having extra always helps. Also I heard that the CURB will be changing that around a bit, can anyone confirm this?
edit: PS: Where did you loot that +13? Thats some good stuff right there

actually cap is 100 (as it makes any weapon or attack infinitely fast at that point)
TK are wierd in that they get more speed then they need to cap... a wierd situation. Their 115 is unneccesary.

Ah, I heard somewhere that the CU will change the cap to 115. In the meantime however I'm going to try and find a nice rifle.

rumor ^_^ don't believe a word of it until it is said by a dev (and even then that is subject to change!)
