Thread: Tenloss DXR-6 Disruptor

Am I safe in assuming this weapon has fallen from glory? Before the CU, my best rifle was a DXR-6 (awesome tissues w/ high dmg slice) and now it's worse than a whole slew of my T21s and Advanced Laser Rifles. Is this going to stay? Should I destroy it and use the ADK that was in it for another rifle?

Dxr6b is a cl 40 weapon so it will never be as good as a master box weapon. Your weapon could be still one of the best dxr6b's on your server. So basically it is your decision on what to do with it

Yeah, it might be worth somethin if its certwasn't exclusive to rifleman. The only people that would have any use for it are n00bs that are working up the rifle tree. If they have any other combat profs, they would be better off with the laser rifle. Man, that sucks, why did they feel it necessary to nerf the disruptor and make the laser rifle so awesome?

the fact is, if your Drx-6b is worse than a bad T21, then it is worthless. I have some really nice .22 rifles, but i would still rather take a crappy 8mm bolt action into combat with me.

Just noticed the disruptor has a master level cert as well as a CL40 cert.

yeah my awesome DXR with crazy accuracy, acid, and relatively high damageis now just another Energy gun with nothing special...

I had the same thing. Had an awesome Dxr-6b with ADK on it before CU. I knew however that after the CU it would be useless. Removal of Acid damage and moving it to cl 40 etc. just made it another average energy weapon.
I destroyed mine to get the ADK back and then put the ADK on my Spiderfang enhanced Bowcasetr that was converted to be an ASSAULT Bowcaster. That thing is my best weapon now! Whoo-hoo some Wookiee lovin finally!
One thing to note is that Laser rifles are pretty dang good right now. So maybe you could replace your Dxr-6b with that.
I plan on giving away my Dxr-6b's to whoever wants em in my guild or friends list.
