Ive killed and killed and killed and finaly got my t21 and 2 blocks up in to the rifleman tree and bah i hate it. This has to be the weakest fighting class in the whole game. My rifle is slow inacurate and when i do use mindshot 2 or head shot 2 it drains my mind so much that one round from a bh with eye shot im incop. Bah this realy sucks!

How many times does this need to be posted before people realize what i am about to say is true-

YES, rifleman does suck at the beginning, but that is not any indication of where the profession goes in the higher end.

Once you get closer to master you will be amazed at the damage you can cause.

Here is a tip- max out the countersniping tree and the rifle special abilities trees BEFORE sniping. The payoffs will come to you much faster that way.

Countersniping is necessary for Flushing Shot 2, which is an area attack, and which wrecks people with any sort of good gun.

Yes it very good that snipers are very good at doing AOE attacks
Somewhere in whole picture i never thought of a sniper putting do hundreds of bullets so that could hit multipule enemey target at once.

For those who dont know Mind Shot 3 does 3x damage and Flurry 2 does 7x to random pool which is rather stupid if ask me> Flurry one should do 7x and aoe should do 3x CAUSE IT AN AOE. There is no reason for AOE to do more damage then single shot.

Remember though that requires us to use the words Devs and logic in the same sentence hehe. ^_^

I like how people pull the name from ONE line and attach it to our entire profession. Dont know how many times it has to be said we are NOT snipers. Most of us understand that and picked this class for the AoE attacks, we didnt look at the profession and think w000t I am going to be a uber sniper!!.

Don't worry... a year from now they will decrease the melee penalty against us to 2.47.

sigh.... what a sad class for anything but hunting creatures....

1. guns are like golf clubs, have a few for each purpose. i have 1 gun that I use for bleed attacks, it has a low HAM cost of 35 and i use a power up to reduce it to near 20.

2. another gun i use for big damage. it is slower

3.a third gun i use is experimented for accuracy and powered up for point blank range is a mob gets in close. or i usemy pistol to deal with them.

4. a 4th is sliced and powered-up for speed

5.and i have a wounder for pvp-25% wound chance.

6. a lot of food will buff your focus. also, as a rifleman, let your stamina and quickness suffer in lieu of focus. very little that u do uses str or action, these stats dont need to be high for you. high focus will keep HAM costs down. If i use grey gabaki spice (focus=1000+) i can hit HS2 at least 20 times in a row from my rifles w/o emptying my mind pool. since buffs to sec. stats are instant, if i get into a big fight, i eat it on the spot. there is a downer with it that lasts about 3-5 minutes though.

Flurry 2 does 4x , our highest is Strafe shot 2, which is 5x.
