I'm a relatively new rifleman. I now have enough XP to get either conceal shot of flushing shot. I had read that after getting MS2 (which I have) to get Flushing shot.

However, with the recent patch changes (nerfs) is this still the way to go?

You probably read to get flushing2, which is a high-damage, AE attack which also stuns all the targets in its effect. IIRC, all the single-target specials (strafe/flushing/flurry/startle1) are all pretty low-damage. I haven't done systematic testing, but I recall trying them after getting them and being rather unimpressed. They're still useful if you want the effect, however.

well if you do want to get those area of effect attacks, then you are going to have to get up the tree to it, which means that getting flushingshot1 will lead you on your way to flushingshot2. although, you might conisder getting up to at least level 3 in sniping accuracy, so you can do more damage, and it makes it easier to get experience. but you can always get whatever you want.

If it makes a difference. I don't PvP. I also prefer to play solo and I don't use a pet to tank.
