That is abosultey correct.

Rifle Accuracy: Your chances of hitting a target.

Rifle Aiming: A bonus to the effectiveness of the /aim command.

As I move up the Rifleman tree (inch by inch, step by step)...
I know what 'rifle speed' does.
But what is 'rifle aiming' versus 'rifle accuracy' ???
I assume that 'rifle aiming' gives me a better chance to HIT the target (like using /aim)...
So then, what does 'rifle accuracy' do ?????

Rifle Aiming improves the effect of using the /aim command while using a rifle.
Rifle Accuracy improves your accuracy with the rifle overall, even without the /aim command.

So Volsted...

"Rifle Aiming improves the effect of using the /aim command while using a rifle.

I apologize for being dense, I just want to make sure I understand my profession to the fullest:
-- So'Rifle aiming' skill has absolutely NO benefit until I usethe '/aim' command, Correct?
-- But as my 'Rifle Accuracy' goes up, it's like getting some level ofbuilt in '/aim'with each shot?

And what exactly does /aim do? I don't understand its usefulness?

Adds a bonus to your chance to hit a MOB.

As a Novice Rifleman with Ranged Weapon Support III, I get around a +20 point bonus (or so) to hit when I Aim first, if I recall correctly.
