I try to keep in touch with other professions, and how they might be changing or fixed in the future. There are several fixes that might have a large impact on rifle use.
- HAM experiementation on weapons. Right now, weaponsmiths can lower HAM at about 1 point for every exp point. They have been asking for this to be fixed. Maybe 5 HAM per exp. If they fix this, then look forward to lower HAM requirements on all weapons, along with weapons with scopes and stocks. (Know of a carbineer who is also a master doctor, uses a Laser Carbine with 70-276, 33% wound chance +51 to ideal range UNSLICED & not poweredup, it does have 88/95/75 HAM costs. The Carbines version of the First shot Bleed attack only weapon.)
- Food They are currently looking at the food buff system. RIght now, Breath of heaven allows me to do attackwith HAM cost not that high. If they increase the duration or buff strength, this could have a big impact on our use. (Dont expect them to go much higher in str as breath of heaven, it is one of the few good foods. But i owuld not mind a large increase in duration.)
- Mind Healing. Most of you already know this is coming in some form.
I am currently waiting for some indication on how they will be "fixing" these things. (along with fixing riflemen). Hope the tell us soon. I currently have carbine as a backup, but I'm getting to the point where I have to pick rifleman or carbine to master. I like rifleman more, but carbine fits into my build quite a lot better. Carbine allows me to max my non weapons abilties alot more than getting rifleman could(Mainly, because I can live without aim, thoses 2 points are usefull). I also dread trying to make it from novice to master in rifleman.
