Actually, there's a pretty well known exploit out there where you can become invisible.

I was running around overt in Bestine with a friend (he's a master carb and I'm a master rifleman) by the little base on the hill.

We're standing there all happy, with nothing on the radar. Next thing I know he falls and my combat mode switches on (but with no target). He sends "run" in the groupchat but its too late. 2 seconds later he and I and incapped and both get DBed.

It's not lag, because after we were DBed we just sat there dead on the ground going through or combat logs.

Turned out that it was an invisible TKA that beat us both down.

I've spoken to a number of rebels about it and they've confirmed that there is indeed a way to INTENTIONALLY become invisible. I got one to tell me how the trick works, but I havent tried it yet to confirm (although i wont go hunting if it works because that's just not fair).

The person was obviously doing this on purpose, because no overt TKA in their right mind would dare to singlehandedly take on a hugely popular hangout full ofovert imps.

It's sad when people resort to cheating on this level. Think of all the FP they've sucked up.

Oh and for the record, our killer was also a %zabbrak

Right all that happend i was walking around bestine doing imp missions when i was walking back i got hit and i went into combat mode but no target and radar was clear for 128m. I went down after 2 headshot3's and was DB by a "Tradoshan".

I posted what ahppend on my server forum and soemone sent me a tell ingame and told me that cover>concealshot>snipershot would allow me to be invisible on the radar in cover, be able to attack without them attacking back & deathblow me from 64m with snipershot.

I wish cover and all that made us invisible!

Nope, sounds like one of our invisible cheating friends got you.
