I'm not talking about theuntouchable cyber-armed rifleman taking out turrets.

Bugged turrets impose an unnatural long range element to PvP which naturally favours rifleman. If they fix this the other ranged classes and melee will be far more viable in PvP. LOS and movement will be far more important and PvP will be far more tactical.
