Thread: New To Rifleman and Combat Upgrade

hey all, i'm currently a master CH/master BE on Intrepid who is getting a bit bored with just plain old ranged shot lol. i've decided to drop master BE and take up rifleman but i'm not really sure about all this. i have not been a combat profession since before the combat upgrade. i'm not really sure what i'm asking. ummm...what's the best special rifleman has? what are some good strategies? any help for a beginning combat player would be awesome.

Got me at a Bad time, in a few days I will be mastering a CH/Rifleman/0-0-4-4 BH template. I could probably help you more then.



But as someone who played a Master Ranger/Rifleman, the specials I mostly used were:


-Startle Shot and Head Shot, to deal direct damage without warmups.


-Cover, conceal, and snipershot. To deal good damage for 3 shot before I am discovered by the MOB.


And that is about it...........

CM's are like nukes. You have them just incase you need them, but as soon as you start using yours the other guys start using theirs and everything goes to hell-PyschoticChipmunk -The First line of the Riflenomican.

Use your pets to draw out single mobs, then send in all three of your babies, then hit for kneecap and try kiting. You and you rpets should tear that thing apart before it gets in close enough to be a worry to you. You could always use the cover/conceal/sniper for the free dam at the start. Startle Shot wont help you much as it'll break when your pets dam and will never save you for more then 2 secs, and since rifleman dont have a KD or root best you can do is kneecap and run off.

If you got BH 0-0-4-0 you get Low Blow, a KD. A cheap SP expendature for a CH.

You could get x44x BH along with master Rifles for Underhand Shot and a good dam dealer, Improved crictical. By using underhand with startle you can keep a mob pinned for a while.
