Marksman 4414 / Master Rifleman / Master Pistoleer / Medic 4140 / Doctor 4000.
Gen.Ranged Accuracy: +180
Gen.Ranged Speed: +40
Melee Def.: +120
Ranged Def.: +175
Healing Efficiency: 80
You have all the abilities of Rifleman and Pistoleer's specials. Pistoleer grants a Root also (useful for now).
Master Rifleman|Master Smuggler|Carbineer x31x
I used that before on another toon and loved it.
You could also do Master Marksman|Master Rifleman|Master Carbineer|CM 3xxx

If you want a KD get 0030 Carbineer. Less points invested compared to BH and a more reliable KD. And 0003 Pistols for the root.
M Marksman/M Rifleman/M Pistoleer/4430 Carbineer would be nice template for you unless you are really set on the healing skills. Then I suggest some sort of M Rifle/Dabble Pistol & Carbs/CM 4000 template.
Thanks for the input. Took this direction. MMark.MRifle.MPistol.4430Carb .... Don't miss DOC and WOW CAN THIS TOON KICK A$$!!!
Thanks again!

For healing, you will be COMPLETELY reliant on Stimpacks if there are no healers around. The 45-50 something second delay in between Stimpack use is a killer. To mitigate this problem somewhat, do 2 steps:
* Buy the best Stimpacks, Stim-D's, IIRC. Cheap ones of these can heal 800. Good ones? Much better.
* There are foods out there, from what I heard about, that lessens the timer/delay between Stimpack usage. Use this in preparation for messy, drawn out fights.

That template will be a CL80 template. You're also forsaking healing abilities with a "full stack combat template."

THanks for the tips. WIll do. I have already tracked the stims down and I know the food you are talking about. I can't remember the name off hand but I have a crate in my pack and it takes the reuse time down a bit.

How about this:

That is the way to go, unless you want to have some wavos and go non-healer like my Rifleman![]()

Master Rifleman/Pistoleer/Marksmen/4-4-3-0 Carbineer

Until recently, my template was M.Marksman / M.Rifleman / M.Carbineer / Pistoleer 3404.
It's a great template that yields tremendous accuracy at +260 without Carbine, Rifle Accuracy Mods, and without enhancements.
I changed though since I wanted to be a Commando again. But that template I was in was very, very nice.

Was that temp also, changed though because I figure Root is going to be moved to master eventually.....

Stims will get you killed or make you broke. Just get Novice Medic, some healing eff clothes, I have an undershirt and bandolier at 18+ each, and some lasting citrus snow cake. I can heal myself for around 400 every 5 secs or so without the citrus, and over 600 with. Adds up to being a lot more then 1200 every 30 secs (with ruby beil), and its free healing, just about, only costs you a small delay in your attack. I still have the stims on the tool bar however, just in case. Believe me, those 15SP are well worth it.
There is a fighting belief out there with a number of players:
"Healing yourself is the first step to defeat"
In the Pre-CU SWG, I have seen players truly live to this mindset. Attack, defend, attack, move, etc. But never to slow down to heal themselves. Always applying pressure on the opponent, make them get into a healing cycle, make them let a mistake to launch your next series of attacks through.
It's a difficult mindset to PvP with. It's an "All or nothing" type of playstyle. I have seen players utilize this theme and win regularly in the Post-CU SWG. But, just as with any decent PvP'er, you MUST be familiar with your character's abilities. It is even more critical to see and recognize very fast the actions of your opponent and what those actions do. Just by glancing.
Remember this also:
Dabbling into Medic, Doctor, CM, etc. to get heals does absolutely nothing for your Ranged / Melee Accuracy & Speed mods. They do barely anything to benefit your Ranged / Melee Defenses. But the big benefit to these templates is that your longevity in combat gets a boost.
A full combat template forsakes healing skillboxes. What they want are total combat skills. Only defenses and hitting power. Basically, hit them harder, hit them fast, hit them with this & that. The aim is to kill the enemy as fast as possible with your immense combat mods & specials. But the healing ability is just enough to barely get by, even with utilizing Ruby Bliel and Stim-Ds.
