New to rifleman, What are the best shots to use while bounty hunting Jedi. still working up trees and need to know what to be prepared for

would you believe on a dps basis - ranged shot?
on a effects basis - startleshot
on a pure all out alpha strike - sniper shot

Adv. Startle Shot is hands down the best Rifleman special.
Do a KD, then spam Startle Shot. The Jedi will be unable to do a KD recovery to get back up. Just be sure not to miss. If you miss once then the jedi will get back up. This works great against Jedi who forget to put up Aura and Valor since the chances of missing are small.

What Rifle skill is knock down? Startle is getting nerfed..............

i really dont understand how ranged shot benefits any rifleman with a decent temp and gun

KD is a special that causes your opponent to be knocked prone.
KD recovery is a special move that your opponent does to get back up from a KD

Ranged shot is outstanding... mostly because of its amazingly quick cooldown, so you do more damage per second (real-time dps, not your guns stats dps), but I also love it because it doesn't have the high action cost of your other specials. Ranged shot coupled with startle, sniper, or for the case in question about jedi hunting, adv. critical, is a devastating combo.

Sigh...the best shot I have now for my rifleman is a screen shot of him holding his cool looking rifle....other then that.......I'm usually a stain under what ever decided to step on me cuz I pointed my cool looking rifle in his direction.
Kneecap to for an opening shot if the target already sees you and your still at range works good.
I like to use startle shot as a target gets with in 15 meters...that way I can do a melee strike as soon as they get in melee range and avoid damage.(till they get up of course)...
