Publish 20 is making shots like Startle, Disarm, and Panic nearly worthless. These shots need their delay time extended by 10 seconds. This will make the shots useful but also not make them overpowering. If we just leave them as is, they will serve almost no purpose in PVE and PVP.

CM's are like nukes. You have them just incase you need them, but as soon as you start using yours the other guys start using theirs and everything goes to hell-PyschoticChipmunk -The First line of the Riflenomican.

Or shorten the delay immunity. Devs don't want a longer delay (takes the fun out of the game for the target). A shorter immunity would allow it to be used up to 50% of the time but not make the target feel helpless.

I don't know....... I'd be happy with a 3 minute immunity if they just extended the delay by 10 seconds. I guess we could tryyour suggestionthough.... possibly Startle would have greater use for those Healing/Defensive templates if the immunity timer was shorter.......

how does being unable to do anything for 5 seconds take the fun out of the game for the target? Are our attention spans that short now?

people flopping like fish for enough time to be killed with no means to fight back is something the devs have never liked.

Being able to do something like heal or shot back (or turn the tables an have the other person in the same situation) is what the devs are after... Dynamic Combat not static shoot at the poor fish out of water. 5 secs of delay is enough to put 2-3 shots into the target 10 secs is enough to kill a normal target.

It would promote grouping which the dev's have a ****on for. Pretty sure they were getting away from the solo thing. have your buddy smack the guy applying them around. You can always use stims to heal while under these states, as well as eat food (synthsteak comes to mind). No one wants to be prepared for a fight anymore. People are too lazy to find and execute a counter strategy.

Don't get me wrong the way startle/disarm works right now is not fun for the victim or victims if your opponent is using a commando weapon (/halo). I strongly disagree that the first action taken is to change the specials because players are too lazy to figure out a counter.

I USED TO take Defense Stacker 2....do you?

This was a matter of much discussion... The timer wasdeemed themost effective solution to the problem. The timer is staying but I hope we can get them to move on their length of time the timer will be active.
