Thread: Anyone else having trouble with area attacks?

When i use my area attacks (flurry-2, etc..) on groups of creatures damage seems to only come of of the creature i have targeted, none of the others are losing from their HAM-bars. Anyone else notice this in game?

Yup - nice little bug, huh? Area attack only works if the MOB[s] are aggroing you. Easiest way to fix this - cycle through all the targets while spamming an area attack - that way you get all the mobs to aggro and you can watch them all fall in a matter of seconds.

sort of, it only damages those that are in combat at all. they dont necessarily have to be agroed on you. send a pet in, any level, they all have attack mode turn on, then let it rip with the AoEs, then they all die

If the MOBs are BAF (group aggro) then after the first shot, the others should join in and then be damaged by the second and following shots.
You shoot Pete the Piket with Strafe Shot 2.
Porthos the Piket hollers "Hey guys, Pete's been hit! Let's get the Bastud!"
You shoot again.
Porthos, Pete, Polly, and Ferdinand all scream "Ouch!".
