Thread: About rifle speeds

I have a laser rifle at 6.3 speed, standing using headshot or flurry I shoot every 7 secs, laying prone using concealshot I shoot about every 10 secs. As far as speed I have 'Intermediate Rifle Special Abilities' which adds some to speed so I would think in any case I would shoot quicker than every 6.3 sec, if even very, very little. So I wanted to know is concealshot just slower than the others (where the hell is that information) or does laying prone make you slower? I would think prone would speed you up if anything. Or is there some other factor that affects the speed that anyone knows about because with an added speed mod I'm still over 6.3 secs listed. With my T21 which is 7.1 shoots concealshot laying prone at about 13 secs per shot. This could just be slight inconsistencies in the game but I was curious.
Posture has no effect on speed. The only factors affecting speed are 1) the rifle speed, 2) the time delay on the special, and 3) your personal speed modifier.
The formula for calculating speed is:
Actual Speed = Weapons Speed [* Special Delay] * (1 - (Personal Speed Modifier * .01))
With Special Abilities I, you have a personal speed modifier of +40, +45 if you have Master Marksman as well. You can check the FAQ thread for information on specials. There, you will find thatFlurryshot1 has a time delay of 2x, Headshot2 has a time delay of 1.75x, and Concealshot has a time delay of 3x. Thus:
Autofire Actual Speed = 6.3 * (1 - (40 *.01)) = 6.3 * .60 = 3.78 seconds per shot
Flurryshot1Actual Speed = 6.3 * 2 * (1 - (40 * .01)) = 6.3 * 2 * .60 = 7.56 seconds per shot
Headshot2Actual Speed = 6.3 *1.75 * (1 - (40 * .01)) = 6.3 *1.75 * .60 = 6.62 seconds per shot
Concealshot Actual Speed = 6.3 *3 * (1 - (40 * .01)) = 6.3 *3 * .60 = 11.34 seconds per shot
If you have Master Marksman, the speeds will be 3.47, 6.93, 6.06, and 10.4 seconds per shot respectively.

Can someone point out which actual faq thread the special info is in?
