I was hunting on Danthomir all day, and from time to time rifle refuses to fire, like there is no LoS, but i dont get a message that i cant see target. I have to get on TK to kill the mobs, otherwise the rifle wont fire at all.

Anyone else experienced this?

Uh Oh!!!!

I experienced the same thing on Datoonie today and never had that problem before. I had line of sight, and was within range, no message errors and yet the gun wouldn't fire.

I'll sound off and verify that I have had this problem several times as well. I plan on reporting it next time it happens.

I've had this happen to me occasionally ever since I started playing SWG, a few months ago. It seems to happen most often when there is a lot of activity going on around the target, such as other players and pets whomping on it. I've always assumed it was due to lag. Even though I have line-of-sight to the target, my avatar will just stand there (or kneel, or whatever), with his weapon pointed at the target, like he's trying to decide whether he really wants to fire or not. Meanwhile, the other players aregetting all the XP. Luckily this dosen't happen too often.

It's probably due to excess "Riflemans Indecision". RI builds up as your toon begins to feel guilty for killing thousands of innocent beings. One way to remedy this is to develop a problem with spice.
