Appreciate your input. I know about the Armor Piercing mods, just in general, which should I use and for what? All are sliced, with no powerups. Thank you.

#1 Laser Rifle (med. arm. p) - 5.8 speed, 103-545

#2 Laser Rifle (med. arm. p) - 4.4 speed, 90-410

#3 T21 (heav. arm. p) - 5.7 speed, 120-326

#4 T21 (heav. arm. p) - 7.5 speed, 174-410

Go with #1 or #2, those are fast and they'll hit hard in PvE.

#2 with a speed powerup, the rest are too slow for low levels.

I agree with the above poster... speed is #1 concern for you right now (as long as we are talking about laser rifles and T-21's).

Well, I'd say #3. I never worried about speed, and still don't. I was using probably a 6.3speed or soT-21 since I picked up Novice. And the way I went, I didn't need speed, I needed damage. I went and got Conceal Shot first, so it mattered how many shots I got off before agro, which was 3 to 4 shots no matter what. I think it really depends on what direction up the tree you're taking.

Why would he use #3? #1 has virtually the same speed but with way more total damage. More than enough to make up for one less level of AP.

I agree with the others, use #2.

#2 speed is everything in leveling. it makes up the difference and more in the lack of damage compaired to a slower rifle. just keep your fastest T21 handy for use in auto-fire mode.
