anyone know how to turn that irritating as hell loot spam off. i dont care if joejerk is looting when im grouped with random folks for XP. the people i hunt serious game with, i trust.

Disclaimer: I have never used these command so I do not know if they actually work, and I believe that they may have to be done by the group leader (i.e., group members may not have an option to individually turn it off). Also, these were bugged at one time, and may still be.

/Group Notify
/Group Notify Credits
/Group Notify Death
/Group Notify Harvest
/Group Notify Incapacitation
/Group Notify Items

These all can be toggled on or off by adding On or Off to the end of the command. There is also a /Group Notify Options which will display a menu to turn these on or off. However, I am reasonably sure thatall of these commands can only be toggled on or off by the group leader. So you may be out of luck unless you can get the group leader and the group to agree to it.

what was the reason they took it away the first time? we used to have this message early on in the game, then it went away. i personally hate it.

Its a good thing for weeding out those pesky ninja looters, altho they should have made an option to toggle it on and off in the menu....
