Thread: question: what is so great with t21 rifles???

maybe there is something i have missed but i just started riflemen.. but the t21 rifles dont do that much damage and they have terrible speed.. maybe as i get nearer master i will understand.. but right now i can use laser rifle with higher dmg and better speed... well the min dmg is worse.. so please help me to clear these things out

high damage, speed is irrelevant to a master, less damage range than a laser rifle (much higher min), heavy AP

I love the T-21, I've used it since I was a Novice. The big deal about T-21's though is the Heavy AP. I've never worried about speed though even when I was a Novice, I always looked for the highest damage gun I could possibly find and go the sneaky sniper way. It worked for me but it seems not to many people go for that aproach.

what i did was, get the combat xp i needed for riflemen speed line with master tka before i started riflemen so when i learned it i culd use a super high damage t21 and shoot pretty damn fast

AP is definitely key here, although a well-made and/or sliced T-21 will make all the difference as well. It's still the preferred weapon even at Novice Rifle, but as you climb the Trees, you see a major difference to a point where you'll use nothing else.
Also, depending on how it's made, sliced, or equipped with power-ups, you can get an optimum damage range for as low as 45-50m like the E-11 or even as long as 65-68m.
When you reach Master Rifleman, you'll be firing off the T-21 as fast as a Spraystick, although, I think most Masters just take a swig of Brandy and spam Straffe Shot 2. Heheheh

I second those reasons. The difference b/w Master and non-Master is like night and day.
