Thread: Some quick quetions for riflemen

As a new rifleman, I have a few quetions.
Do you guys wear armor, more specificly, head gear? I dont have any armor, because I dont want to bog my mind/health, but is it worth it as a rifleman?
On the Ahazi server, who would you recommend for getting weapons from? The best vendor I know is Phatz on tatooine. I was wondering if there is any other person/vendor I can contact about rifles.
I am just looking for basic advice on how to equip myself as a rifleman.

When I was starting out, I would do my missions without wearing a helmut spamming specials. Typically bleed shots on all of my targets. When I started getting attacked back, I'd put my helmut back on and use autofire letting the bleeds do their work. Of course this was back when you could stack bleeds. I'd still do the same thing using MindShot2. And yes, I always wear armour.
Can't help you out as to where to look for good rifles as I'm on Bloodfin.

Believe it or not I mastered rifles without using armor once. Of course I'm a wookie so that meant I had to do it that way. I did have help though. A level 15-20 pet can really go a long way toward helping you not die. On the plus side wookie armor is rumored to be on the way.

I don't weat armor when I do janta missions or shaman mokk's. They really don't do any damge when you're TKA Master and Master Rifleman. I only wear my composit when I PvP or do like Kryat or really hard stuff.

The only armour I used was a sheild gen to get to master, but there again was doing CH at the same time so not a lot got that close any how,

As far as weaponsmith on Ahazi... I have found that Shilo Durden is generally better then Phatz. Only problem is I'm not sure if he is still in business, as I haven't been to his shop in a long time. His shop was on Naboo I believe, but can't think of what city it was close to. Try checking the vendor map. If he is no longer in business, Phatz is hard to beat, but Oodos puts out a quality item at a price that can't be beat. Oodos is also on Tat., near Eisley

cubone's outside tyrena is nice. sometime a bit pricey but he's got alot of stuff i like to drool over.

I have 2 Macro's I made named "Armorup" and "Armordown"
I fight at long range in clothes and if I see a mob rush me I hit my armorup button and have full armor in about 1 second. After the fight I switch back to clothes again to heal up. Works great.

the only armour i own is a partial set of ST armour. i seldom even use doctor enhancements except when krayting.
my pets are my armour.
